2:29 p.m., Joliot Curie Gymnasium, Saint-Ouen. Dancing on the conflict site : The gymnasium is closed. Young drug dealers from the neighborhood were entering the place, so the security agents put their right of withdrawal on. All the sports classes are cancelled. The inhabitants are angry, the dialogue is getting tougher. I was informed of the situation by Mains d’Œuvres’s team. They said to me : « Before arguing, let’s call for poetry and start with a little dancing »… so I do it. It’s the first time scooters join the dancing. I proposed to a group of young men hanging around, to join. They answered to me : « Thanks for asking, but it won’t be possible, we are not into dancing… » 🙂
